2017 SCQHA Queen Candidates

Allison Hinson, 20, is a student at Wingate University in North Carolina majoring in Human Services. Allison grew up riding horses and began showing when she was 12 years old. She started showing on the AQHA Level when she was in high school. She is now looking forward to competing in the All-Around events with her American Quarter Horse.

Allison grew up in Monroe, North Carolina right near the South Carolina state line. Her parents, Pam & Lynn Hinson, have supported her dreams from the very beginning helping her any way possible. One of Allison’s favorite things to do is to volunteer as a Veterinary Assistant with her equine veterinarian during her free time from work and class.

Allison has big shoes to fill, but she is very driven to study hard and practice daily, in order to be the best representation of the South Carolina Quarter Horse Association as possible.

Congratulations to our 2016 SCQHA Queen, Amy Brown who has been crowned 2016 All American Quarter Horse Congress Queen! We are proud of the way you have represented SCQHA and know that you will continue to do so during your reign as Congress Queen!
